Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving Day was full of Turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, pumpkin soup, cheescake, mash potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and I am sure I am forgetting something. It was delicious. The only thing better would have been to share it with our family in Idaho, Colorado, and other places.

Ronald loves his table and chair set. It doesn't matter if it is having a snack or watching his favorite show this is where he wants to sit.

While watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Ronald spotted a giant Thanksgiving Turkey. He said, "Wait"!!!! He ran into the other room and brought back the Turkey that Grandma Cheryl made.

Ronald and Jerrod had fun carving the pumpkin. Tasty soup was made with it. Ronald also liked the pumpkin seeds baked crispy in the oven.

First Day of day care in Florida

November 2, 2009 Ronald woke up and the first thing he did was run to Aunt Natalie’s old room. He found her room empty. Ronald and mommy finished getting ready to go. But wait…where is Aunt Natalie? Ronald pointed to her room giving me a quizzical look. He did this every morning for at least two weeks. He would also run to the front door and point to the windows.

We are so glad Natalie stayed for Halloween. It made it more exciting!

When we arrived home there were a couple visitors at our front door. This lizard was above the door.

The frog was on the door peering at us with large eyes.

Ronald enjoyed looking at the different Jack O Lanterns.

This neighborhood is unique in that there are so many people out for several hours. The people at the houses sit outside on lawn chairs.

Wow, we are finally on our way to the next house.

Ron wanted to try each candy he recieved. Mom spoiled him tonight!

The second house we went to I knew the people again. We had taught at the same school. The first house some good friends were there.

After a bit of catching up and Ronald having a piece of candy we were on our way to the next house.

This was right when we were out of the car and ready to find out about this trick or treat that Ronald kept hearing about.

At this point Ron was still carrying Buzz.
