Dr. appointment

Friday, June 6, Ronald went the Dr. and weighed in at 19 and 1/2 pounds and 26 and 1/2 inches. What a big boy! Ron also had to get shots. He wasn't happy about that. He didn't feel good until Saturday afternoon. Then he happily played with his friend Madeline. They watched baby einstein together. He is also teething. The Dr. said she could feel one tooth on the bottom. This week it is off to Colorado to meet Great grandpa and grandma Ackley!

Cantelope

This bib Grandma Ackley crosstitched it! Yes a lot of work. It almost makes me want to not use it and only have it for looks. But hey that isn't what it was made for. Ron is having some cantelope here! He really dug it on mother's day. I was letting him suck on a piece at brunch and he sucked the piece right in half. I panicked and swiped it out with my fingers. I love this food net! No worries about the baby choking!

Ready for Church

Ron loves to laugh. We have been so blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby.
He makes us laugh.
What a big boy. Yes that is what we get all the time. Now it's 4 months! He really is big for 4 months. He's going to be a linebacker. I can't tell you how many times I have heard that. Half the people don't even know that Dad is a football coach!
I just love getting him ready for church. Which cute outfit should I put him in. All the people just adore him. I went to Ace Hardware yesterday. The lady there helped me and enjoyed Ronald so much. Here, where we live, there are many grandmas and grandpas that have grandchildren so far away. They love seeing babies. Well he was the star of the show! Yes she got on her earpiece and called all her friends up to the front. We had every employee there admiring the little one. Going on errands is different than it was before. Now everyone is so extremely helpful! They open doors and ask to help all the time. They all said please come back and see us with the little one.
Don't you just wish you could know what they are thinking? I do. But for now I will improvise.....Mom I love you, Mom thanks for all you do, Dad you are so fun to play with, you two are the best parents....

Bannana

What a cool bib from cousin Ashley. Colorado State Vetrinary Medicine. Wow soon she will have a bunch of letters after her name! Way to go Ashley!
Enjoying my bannana.

Happy Baby

He really is happy most of the time. If I get on the phone he really tries hard to get my attention! Some of you know what I mean. He has a set of lungs on him. He knows if he uses them he will get our attention.
I will never forget talking to his Grandma Hahn just yesterday and she said, "I can't hear you over your son." We were trying to make picture plans for the summer. Well Ron wasn't thinking that planning was fun at the time and he was letting it be known. As soon as we hung up he was fine again. Huummm..... There is definately a boss in this house and we're afraid he wears diapers.
